Joao Felix could finally fulfil his potential in Barcelona s possession-based style, says former Atletico Madrid team-mate Hector Herrera.

The Portugal international arrived at Atleti at the age of 19 ahead of the 2019-20 campaign for a club-record fee of €126million (£109m), but never quite lived up to his massive price tag, scoring just 34 goals in 131 games.

The Sweden international swapped Manchester United for LA Galaxy in 2018, announcing his arrival with a full-page advertisement in the Los Angeles Times stating: Dear Los Angeles, you re welcome .

Daniel Farke has been named the new head coach of Borussia Monchengladbach.

The Bundesliga club announced the appointment on Saturday, with Farke signing a deal until 2025.

The 45-year-old takes up his first head coach role in the Bundesliga having previously been charge at SV Lippstadt and Borussia Dortmund II.

He was hired by Norwich City in 2017, winning promotion to the Premier League twice at Carrow Road before being sacked in November with the Canaries again battling relegation in England s top flight.

Farke was appointed head coach of Krasnodar in January but left just two months later after Russia s invasion of Ukraine.

New Roma head coach Jose Mourinho believes he has been a victim of his own success. 

Former Inter boss Mourinho will return to Serie A in 2021-22 after being appointed by Roma following his Tottenham sacking in April.

Mourinho, who guided Inter to an unprecedented treble in 2009-10, replaces Paulo Fonseca in Rome, where the Giallorossi have not won a league title since 2001.

Arsenal are interested in signing Pedro Neto from Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer transfer window, according to . The report has claimed that Wolves are willing to sell Neto at the end of the season, and that the Wanderers want £80 million for him.

Olivier Giroud announced he will be leaving Milan to join the MLS at the end of the season when his contract expires.

The Frenchman joined the club in July 2021 from Chelsea, winning the Serie A title in his first season.
